Preparing The Youngest Minds With Technology
BABY PROMISE™ is a fun, interactive early learning program that connects underserved families in Pittsburgh’s East End communities with educational resources that empower them to use advanced technology to teach literacy to children 0-6 years old. It uses hand held technology devices such as tablet computers and educational toys, desktop PCs, traditional books and other technology-based devices to augment the Parents as Teachers Born to Learn™ curricula. BABY PROMISE™ offers instructional home visits for families with children ages 0-3 and summer day camp for youth 3-6 years of age at Kingsley Association. It includes a technology-based learning curriculum combined with a healthy, physical exercise regimen that consists of swim classes, yoga exercise and healthful meals. BABY PROMISE™ is a joint partnership between East Liberty Family Support Center and Bright, Inc. to expose children to various interactive educational devices and pre-school-centered programming to enhance learning.
Any family with a child(ren) under 6 years of age living in Pittsburgh’s East End communities. For ages 3-7, we offer in-center programs; for ages 0-5, we also have in-home programs. In addition, please ask about our new Kindergarten Club!
